These are my cones for a sphere design i've experimented with.
I've made 66 cones and counting.
This is the measurements i've drawn up for the cones. It has on the right the point to start rolling and on the left where to stop and glue on so the open end of the cone has a pointed peak on it.
The idea was to start of in the middle of the sphere and build up so it was half a sphere example is below.
This one is only half built up but it would go all the way up, after id finished one i would do another the fix both half spheres together to make a full one. It would of been a meter in diameter and be made up of 211 cones
I have since been working on another different design that wont use as much paper, the idea was good but too simple i wanted something more complexed.
