I have decided to come back to the cone idea i had near the start but develop and build on the idea. I'm going to build them up in two halves and hang them next to each other so they come together to make a wave/half sphere.
The picture above is what i'm going to build up on both sides, the idea is to layer the cones getting less and less so it achieves a sort of point if look at it from the side.
