Frames

We have learnt about frames per second (FPS), the more frames in a second, the smoother the animation. In England 12 or 25 frames per second is average but in America it is 35.

The animated programme Pokemon is 12 FPS -

Whereas a different animation e.g the pixar lamp animation is 25 FPS -

Since i've been using after effects i can tell approx 5 - 7 seconds into this clip the animators have used motion blur which lets your animations look like they're moving fast and you don't need as many frames either.
